- Triptych is a performance artwork in which the audience are invited to take centre stage. Featuring the primary elements of rock and roll - electric guitar, drum kit and vocal microphone - the piece is formed when three people come together to make a band. Inspired by the energy and aesthetic of punk, each Triptych lasts for just 30 seconds. The hidden stage, at the back of a small boathouse, provides an intimate venue for the performances. With no rules for how to play, the participants are free to explore, the short timescale fuelling the urgency to make music/noise.
